Toronto will be hosting several FIFA World Cup 2026 events this summer, with games taking place at Toronto Stadium (formerly BMO Field) in our neighbourhood. During this period, Village Family Health Team will continue to provide care to our registered patients while making some operational adjustments as needed to support patient access and clinic operations.

Please note that temporary adjustments to our services and scheduling will occur on the following Toronto FIFA game days:

• June 12, 2026

• June 17, 2026

• June 20, 2026

• June 23, 2026

• June 26, 2026

• July 2, 2026

On these dates:

• Same-day urgent in-person appointments will continue to be available

• Phone and virtual appointments will continue to be scheduled

• Routine appointments requiring in-person visits will be scheduled with your provider on non-FIFA game days

• Parking availability will be limited

• Vehicle access into Liberty Village will be restricted or delayed

• Regular clinic services and scheduling will resume on all non-game days.

Throughout the months of June, July, and August, traffic and commute times across the city may be longer than usual due to FIFA-related events, summer festivals, road closures, construction, and increased activity throughout Toronto. Patients are encouraged to allow extra travel time when attending in-person appointments.
